Music in the Garden – The Friends of Reveley Lodge

As part of the Bushey Festival we were delighted to welcome The Watford Band to Reveley Lodge on Sunday 2nd July 2023

The gates opened at 1.00pm for people to bring a picnic to enjoy whilst listening to The Watford Band. The performance ran from 2.00pm – 4.00pm the band played a wide selection of music including a Bond compilation, Tina Turner, ELO and Military favourites.

Mabel’s Vintage tearooms provided us with Pimms, Prosecco, tea, coffee and freshly baked scones and jam. The weather was fine and dry.

Thanks to your generosity through Annual Memberships and functions attended by Friends and their friends (!) we have been able to donate £9,862 to Reveley Lodge Trust since the inception of the Friends of Reveley Lodge three and a half years ago.

Last year's contribution was spent on a new gazebo, repairs to an existing one, materials for the ring main (providing power to the garden) and a new sign for the front of the building. Unused monies together with the 2025 donation, given recently, is intended to be used for the refurbishment of the drawing room.
